School Overview
Affiliated School of JNU Affiliated School of JNU For Hong Kong & Macao Students, Foshan (Foshan ASJ) is an international school established under the strategy framework of the "dual - district drive", promoting integration between the Greater Bay Area and the Pilot Demonstration Zone. As the first school in Foshan dedicated to students from Hong Kong and Macao, Foshan ASJ was founded with the guidance of Jinan University - a prestigious, century-old institution renowned for its commitment to overseas Chinese education. The school adopts a governance and curriculum model inspired by international schools for the children of foreign personnel.

As a key Guangdong provincial construction project in 2023, Foshan ASJ officially opened in September of the same year. The campus spans 46 mu, with a construction area of approximately 40,000 square meters, and features state-of-the-art facilities designed to accommodate 12,000 students. Foshan ASJ is the third campus established by the ASJ Group, following those in Guangzhou and Dongguan. Its launch further strengthens our group-based educational model. Through the “One Brand, Three Campuses” approach, we benefit from abundant resources available across the Greater Bay Area. Our curriculum is based on the Hong Kong education system and is integrated with the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework. This educational approach is designed to nurture students with a well-rounded education that prepares them for future academic and professional success.

In 2024, Foshan ASJ was officially approved as a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). In addition, the school introduced the globally respected Duke of Edinburgh's International Award (DofE), providing students with diverse platforms to develop skills such as leadership, initiative, and creativity.

School Highlights
Integrating the essence of Hong Kong teaching
Proficient in biliteracy and trilingualism

The school has skillfully integrated Hong Kong's unique teaching strategies into the school-based curriculum, and has fully implemented the education policy of bilingualism and trilingualism. By deeply integrating Cantonese education, whether in daily activities or teaching arrangements, we encourage students to actively use bilingualism and trilingualism to communicate and express themselves, and regard Cantonese as an indispensable "compulsory elective course". At present, the school's Cantonese teaching mainly focuses on language application skills and the inheritance of Cantonese culture, such as Cantonese opera. We hope that no matter where students come from, they can understand Cantonese and grasp its essence.
