At the primary level, we integrate the Hong Kong Curriculum with the IB PYP philosophy and framework, strategically cultivating students' elf-directed learning and skills beyond the classroom. We foster well-rounded development in academic, critical thinking, innovation, and cultural literacy — empowering students to become lifelong learners with a global perspective and a strong sense of national identity.

We learn how to LEARN
In the primary school, we integrate subject content into six transdisciplinary themes. Teachers design multidimensional learning experiences that encourage students to explore knowledge through various forms. Through these experiences, students develop a deeper understanding of concepts, skills, and learning approaches. At the same time, they make continuous progress and learn to apply their knowledge to real-word situation. Students are empowered to improve their learning, contribute to their communities, and positively impact the world through timely reflections and initiative actions.
We learn how to LIVE
We provide students with a well-structured daily schedule that supports academic growth while also nurturing independent living skills and preparing them for the future. We believe every student has talents and potential, which is why our enrichment programs extend beyond academic subjects. Students are encouraged to explore their interests, uncover hidden gifts, and pursue their passions in a supportive and enriching environment.
We learn how to LOVE
At ASJ Primary School, we place strong emphasis on nurturing both physical and mental development of our students, with a core focus on strengthen their ability to both give and receive love. Through our SEL program, students are guided to recognize and manage their emotions while developing greater self-awareness and self-management skills. The program supports students in exploring their inner selves, building confidence, and strengthening social skills. By developing interpersonal abilities, they form meaningful connections with others. Ultimately, we empower students to make responsible decisions for themselves and others, equipping them with the emotional intelligence and resilience needed to navigate academic growth and future challenges.

Biliteracy and Trilingualism
● English-taught subjects are delivered through collaboration between Chinese and international teachers, using original English textbooks to develop strong language skills and foster a global perspective.
● Chinese studies are enriched with culture heritage exploration, strengthening students' mother tongue proficiency, culture identity and sense of belonging.
● Cantonese courses are offered with differentiated instructions based on students' language proficiency, providing entry-level language learning, and advanced exploration of Cantonese culture.
